Hello,
It doesnt always happen, but sometimes i'll arrive at a light and come to a stop, then i realize that the air conditioning stops coming out cold and the service engine light comes on. Then the third thing i realize is that the RPMs are at 0, the engine turned off. (The Service Engine light always comes on when the engine stalls and turns off when you start the car again)
I always engine brake when i stop, put it in 3rd sometimes 2nd and the clutch it at the end and put it in nuetral until the light changes. when this happened to me it usually happened at a light close to my house while the engine is still warming up. Since engine braking stops the flow of fuel to the engine, (I am ready to confirm this to anyone who thinks otherwise) clutching it all of a sudden causes the RPMs to fall to Idle speed and the fuel pump has to kick back in to maintain it there, sometimes it falls too low and the engine dies. (It happens rarely though) When this happens i dont feel a rumble or shake. ive never looked into this or have given it much importance. I think its a normal glitch that happens sometimes. Its also very hard to replicate. Ive tried when stopping at lights. There's probably be an exact rpm that while engine braking you can push the clutch in and the engine's rpms will go below idle speed and the engine will just shut off.
Please Help.
Thanks !
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
